I received this book FREE from a Goodreads Giveaway. And, what a great book it was.
Hyrum W. Smith, the author, is also a former CEO for Franklin Covey and a cofounder of 3Gaps. The 3Gaps being: Values; Beliefs; and the one that hits very close to home for most of us, I think, Time. Smith's idea that closing the gaps will help us all to lead a more fulfilled and less stressful life. The book rang very close to home for me on all three of the values. I love the idea of writing and living a show more personal Constitution and a family Constitution.

The Miracle of Forgiveness is a much better book. However, and I'm kind of ashamed to admit this, I read Mr. Smith's book strictly for the gossip factor. I used the Franklin Planner way back when and I was interested in what led to Mr. Smith's fall from grace. The book really didn't disappoint in that regard, but $10 is a lot to pay for People-Magazine-caliber scoop.
Offers insightful pronouncements on America's time fragmentation. "Life is getting more and more hectic. The daily treadmill is accelerating, and we have to run faster and faster just to stay in one place." His recommendations for regaining control of time, events and hence life are intriguing, as are his suggestions on goal setting, planning and negative behavior traits. Yet Smith's sharply focused managerial constructs become muddled with material on "life management," aimed at achieving show more "inner peace--the transcendant feeling of fulfillment and well-being." show less
Solid, practical system for time management, without bogging down in a lot of self-help mumbo-jumbo.
