The Immaculate Connection by Michelle Sawyer is the sequel to They Say She Tastes Like Honey. It picks up about five or six year after that book, and follows the relationship between Macy and Faith. In this story, Macy is recovering addict, dealing with menopause, and loving being a mom to Banky. The couple move from New York to California, where our happy couple starts feeling some bumps in their relationship. Just like the first book, Michele Sawyer writes with so much intelligent wit that show more I found myself laughing out loud at some of Macy’s comic adventures. Along with the humor, is a great love story you’ll want to read to the end. show less
Macy moved to Greenwich Village in her early 20s and started her own successful travel agency. But she is now in her early 40s (or late 30s, depending on whom she's talking to) and finds herself adrift in her own seemingly charmed life.
