Emma Storm

I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for an honest opionion. This is one of the hottest short "lusty" books that I've read in a very long time...and I read a lot of novels and short stories (149 and counting this year). The first few lines had me hooked and I was reeled in with the first chapter. Zev and Tara's story is intriguing, exciting, and will have you begging for more.

Angela and Forest's story is by far my favorite in this series. The three books can be read as seperate stories, but my advice is to start with the first book so you have the back story. This book has drama, sizzle, and lots of lust. It is a fun quick read and it kept my mind off the storm outside my house. The characters, plot, & storyline are well developed.

Ms. Storm does a great job at building the storyline and typically character development & plot. However, for a ending series book, this book left too many cliffhangers. Cross & his new woman...Beck's transformation reversal...Smoke's possessiveness displayed in book 4…Oh well, guess we'll never get those answered.

I enjoyed this first series book, but I was a bit surprised that the story went back in time/ congruent with January's story. I also would never have guessed Cleo had a horrible past
