We all like inspiration books and I think that this one falls into that category. There are fifty handwoven scarves in this book and they each contain a weaving draft and at least some instruction on how to copy them. However I think that the best part of this book is as a jumping off place for your own designs. Lots of ideas and beautiful photos of the finished scarves.
Design Collection 20
Weekend Weaving Projects

Cost: $9.95 (book form is what I have)
E Book - $9.95
Pages: 32

Projects Include:
Album Cover, Scarf, Bookmarks, Guitar Strap, Coasters, Blouse, Tote Bags (3), Lap Robe, Towels (2), Cocoon, Loom Saddle Bag.

Weave Structures:
Plain Weave, Tapestry, Twills, Basket Weave, Rep, Log Cabin with Color and Weave Effect, Summer and Winter and Plain Weave with clasped Wefts.

Fibers Used:
Silks, Wools, Cottons, Serger Threads, Novelty Yarns, Carpet Warp, Viscose and show more Needle Point Yarns.

Projects For: 2, 4 and 8 shaft looms.

An instruction page is included for Tapestry Techniques and also one explaining reading drafts and instruction for fringes and finishes.

Although this Design Collection contains a wide variety of projects - there aren't any - that totally thrill me as a project to do, although I may use a weave structure or an idea to develop something more useful to myself. The photos are very nice.

Terrific article on 3 shaft weaves. Basketweave pillow case. Interesting batweave shawl.
