An incredible book - somewhat like a diary with plenty of photographs. The author had access to the Warner's production notes as well as letters and telegram either to or from Flynn to family members, Warner Brothers, etc. The author did an incredible amount of research and the reader gets a very different perspective on Flynn than found in other biographies. My only complaint is that while the author did let us know what happened to Sean and Arnella Flynn (two of his four children) - we show more don't hear what happened to his parents who outlived their son. While I could find out that his father (who was seriously ill when his son passed away) lived another 9 years, I could find out nothing on his mother (who he never seemed to like). show less
