Quick short read to introduce ideas of Hanukkah. Although this book does a good job at simply explains some of this holidays traditions, I feel that there would be other books that get the same point across in a more appealing way to students.
This book is packed with animal information specifically about food chains and how they adapt in their environment. The book is very colorful and full of pictures and diagrams that keep the book interesting amongst the mass amount of information. I would use this book to help teach about food chains and the different consumers. As well as it takes specifically the arctic and the arctic animals which would be good to take a closer look at before or after this read. This book could tie in a show more lot about habitat, animal adaptations, and food chains. Which could be a whole unit on the arctic habitat. show less
Great information, but I couldn't get my 3yo interested - we'll try again at the end of this summer.
This book was a very factual book and gave great information on different cultures and how the people of different cultures live their life every day. I would use this book in a classroom to help students understand the different cultures we have and what people do in each culture.
