This was a great read. it's was intriguing to get an inside view of what happen through Hollys eyes. She spent a lot of time not being able to speak her mind and being suppressed so it's great she was able to air it all out. writing is a great form of therapy. Everyone handles the same experiences different, I feel like she wasn't trying to throw anyone under a bus just saying it like she knew it. Life doesn't always take the path we plan but it always ends up at where we need to be some how.
An interesting and informative overview of dolphin biology and training. This is a great introduction to dolphins, most suited to young readers. Those interested in serious study of bottlenose dolphins may be disappointed by the lack of depth in presentation of material; I recommend The Bottlenose Dolphin: Biology and Conservation by Reynolds, Wells, and Eide for a thorough overview of the bottlenose dolphin. However, Dolphin Discovery, unlike most other biology texts, contains information show more on animal training as well as biology. show less
this book was way better than the first. I really don't get all the hp/other books references I mean im in love with hp as much as the next it just doesnt flow with this story. and to clear the record these books are not the adult harry potter. I dont understand how that idea started but it's all over the reviews. the story is a great story and would totally stand on it's own without the name drops.
I hadn't heard or read any reviews of this book prior to opening it.

I felt the base story was a good start but the descriptive voice was very lacking. at many points other novel references were used to describe instead of just writing out the description. There were so many fan boy references it was distracting.

I almost feel like the author was like what if I combine bits and pieces of all these famous books and make a story out of it. It was slightly distracting as it wasn't explained or show more anything.

as will all beginner writers books usually get better so im going to continue the story and be optimistic.
