This is an Italian film with most of the actors anglicizing their names! The dubbed voices aren't bad actors in most cases, however, except for the Red Executioner himself, who is pretty ridiculous at the end (both voice-wise and acting wise) as portrayed by Mickey Hargitay. A photographer and some models have broken into Hargitay's castle, which isn't deserted as they thought. They find Hargitay living there with his two incredibly loyal henchmen, who wear matching outfits and must be paid show more very very well since they are willing to die for their employer. Hargitay tells them to leave, but changes his mind when he recognizes one of the models. There isn't much reason to go into the plot, which is ridiculous, so you'll just have to stay for the torture. If you're a fan of medieval torture devices, this film was made for you. There's the old reliable iron maiden, for instance. But also a cage hung over a fire pit for roasting someone alive. A turning contraption where you can jab knives at people to lacerate them. A murderous four poster bed--well, that one isn't in the dungeon, so I guess it doesn't count. The violence here, especially to women, is awful, and if it weren't all so silly, it would be even more objectionable. The film maintains your interest for at least the first half, but it is downhill after that. Nice castle, though. show less
A girlie photoshoot in a bloody dungeon of horror is interrupted by bloody horror.
It's the cardboard sets kind of bad movie that's fun to watch, like Ed Wood but with more girls taking their clothes off. I think they spent less time writing the script than it takes to watch the movie.
