Boo Cow is about a farmer and his wife starting an egg farm. For some reason the 552 chickens they have will not lay eggs. The neighbor egg farmer told them that the hen house was haunted. They decide to investigate to see if it is true or not, it is true that there is a ghost cow, but the cow was trying to protect the chickens from the neighbor egg farmer who was stealing the eggs after the ghost cow came through.

I really enjoyed this book. I can relate to this book, by always believing show more what I hear ( Most times). The book teaches that you can not always believe what you hear.

I can incorporate this book into my curriculum, when learning about cows and/or learning about truth/lies. I can have the students react a similar scenario based on this book. I can also have the students write an alternate ending to this story.

Read on Reading Rainbow. O LOVES this story. I might have to buy a hardcover. (Ended up finding a copy at the thrift store). Read we the youngest and he thought it was very funny. He likes cows and it was timely with Halloween coming up.
