How to be an assertive, not aggressive, woman ... in life, in love, and on the job by Jean Baer

This book has moments where it shows it's age, but they're not as many as you might think, or hope. It's the first book where the difference between assertive and agressive was clearly pointed out and the solutions are quite workable. With also an acknowledgement that the other party in a dispute is entitled to their opinion and in an assertive situation are entitled to have their opinion considered.

It's a book I may have to come back to again. Interesting and educational and while a bit show more dated, still thought provoking. show less
