Murder at Flood Tide: detectives hunt a killer on Edinburgh's streets (The DI Jack Knox mysteries Book 2) by Robert McNeill
After an intriguing start to the series, the author takes this book to the next level with a big-hitting crime drama that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
A View to Murder: a mystery with a devilish sting (The DI Jack Knox mysteries Book 5) by Robert McNeill
An intriguing mystery set in Edinburgh. McNeill can tell a good story, and pack a few twists in the plot. Classic.
The Innocent and the Dead: gripping Scottish crime fiction (The DI Jack Knox mysteries) by Robert McNeill
I was wanting to read something light, this Kindle Unlimited book was that. It includes the prequel The Labyrinth. However, a few days after finishing them both, I can barely remember what the books were about. For me, it was boring, and with an unlikely plot. I couldn't even connect with the characters. I don't mind potato chips for the mind now and then, but these potato chips were stale.
This is a series you can really get into. A nice easy pace to the reading but a good, well-rounded plot and likeable characters.
