About My Library
My library includes books, charts and patterns for needlework, and scores which are mostly for piano.

I am not sure that my ratings can be compared with others. My system tends toward the middle of the curve and is as follows:

Wonderful, meaningful books, ones that tend to be re-read; some have shaped my life - also exceptional charts/patterns
Enjoyable and worthwhile books or charts which can be recommended to others
Average, enjoyable read; good patterns & charts
I managed to struggle through and it was OK; use patterns with caution
Not really worth the reading and/or I couldn't finish; inaccurate information
Good grief!

And thanks to raton-liseur for allowing me to borrow her ideas and helping with this page.

About Me
I was an academic librarian, the head of technical services and the science liaison librarian at Albright College, now retired. Until recently, I served as the parish librarian at Christ Episcopal Church. Previously, I worked in public and corporate libraries.

I am also a stitcher and my profile picture is a piece I stitched for an exhibit at Embroiderers' Guild of America headquarters.
