Oh Alexa Riley... I love you. Claimed is one of those books that just makes me happy. Jay and Jordan are both delightfully weird and awkward which made them so relatable! They both long for the other but have NO idea how to make a move. Its adorable.
Jordan has a close relationship with his father and I found that enchanting. I like stories that feature functional families and strong bonds. I loved that Jordan and Jay were both virgins! I know, everyone is over the virgins, but I think its show more sweet and adorable. Jordan and Jay both embraced their weird. From awkward dates with stinky horses to knocking heads together, they are just adorably awkward. For you office romance fans, you will love the interactions between Jordan and Jay in the office! Its where they met and build their friendship, but its also where their relationship progresses!
There was a great deal of danger too! I wasn't expecting that and I loved it!! The plot twist was engaging for sure, and I loved that it brought out a new side to Summer. Jay deserved to see Summer grow up for sure. While the actual villains were not a surprise, the events keep you on the edge of your seat for sure.
Claimed is everything I love about Alexa Riley and more! I love suspense and danger, so to get the over the top romance and the drama and danger was like a dream come true!
- POV: dual 1st
- Tears: no
- Trope: insta-love, office romance
- Triggers: none
- Series/Standalone: stand alone within an interconnected series

The Until Her series by Aurora Rose Reynolds, Rookie Move by Sarina Bowen, About that Kiss by Jill Shalvis...then you will probably like Claimed!

This is book is way over the top cheesy and as smutty as hell, but oh so addictive.
I've never read a DD/LG book before and was a little curious, so I thought why not. At first I was like 'what have a got myself in to?' But then it was just so over the top and I was sucked in. I just had to keep reading to find out what would happen next.
Haley is just too innocent for someone who just turn 18 that it wasn't believable. Daddy William is in a class of his own. But who cares? It makes for a a show more great story for a quick hot read. show less

Why I keep tormenting myself with AR books?? Why??? Ugh!
Honestly I can copy and paste one of my reviews from their other books cause it's the exact same shit although this one is little bit creepier.
You have
The naive innocent barely legal 18 year old wallflower of a heroine who been sheltered so much in this world from her rich parents that she doesn't know what the hell stranger danger means.. Who's somehow taking a flight to Paris instead of taking campus tour to her local community show more colleges or universities....
The creepy possessive obsessive 30 year old billionaire who pretty much take anything he wants without worrying about getting arrested since he's so freaking rich and owns everything. Who has a hero complex for trying to save the innocent, helpless, and sheltered woman who he barely knows her name, like a child that needs his "protection" along with his dick.... Who pretty much sexuality assaulted ( borderline rape to me even tho he didn't fully penetrate her) the heroine while she was freaking asleep on the plane. Telling her that she belongs to him now like she's a piece of meat instead of a person.
Character Development? What is Character Development? There's no such thing as character development!
InstaLust aka" Let me put a baby in you even tho I barely know you, you been sheltered all your life and you probably barely legal age yet. "
Instalove aka " I love you so much even tho I just met and had sex with you in 2 secs ago on a plane without your consent..."
Happy Ever after with two Epilogues with one set 2 years in the future and the other set 10 years in the future while they have 3 or 4 kids and is happily ever after making another one.
And That's pretty much a AR short story. I really need to stop reading them because they are everything I hate in books.

I'll be honest here. If I had met Oz in real life I would have run for the hills. I don't doubt that he was in love with Mallory the day he met her, but it was so weird and stalker-ish. Oz was obsessing after Mallory for the last five years and he finally got the chance to meet her again and make her fall for him. In fact, he made sure to map out her life in order to make her that their meeting would happen. Around 40% of the story I realized how much he was actually manipulating her and he show more just creeped me out. Mallory might have graduated from college, but she doesn't seem to make the very obvious connection between the man she falls for and the name of the company. Good job Mallory. I am expecting less craziness from a full length novel, but this duo managed to take the craziness and all the other elements people love reading in the novellas written by the them and transfer them to a book almost three times longer. I wasn't prepared for the craziness of this story, but I enjoyed it on some level, hence the three star rating instead of something lower. show less
