Complete waste of money! Badly organized is putting it mildly. Also, despite "machine knitting" being on the cover, there are only a handful of machine knitting tips, and they're so general that anyone with a knitting machine will surely find the same tips in their machine's manual.
Very simply, the editor collected a number of tips and hints from different sources and put them in a book. I read through the book once and have never picked it up again. It is not the type of book that you will use as a reference for knitting. There are no lessons or patterns, just a collection of very short tips.
Good reference for some how to's. I often refer back to knit for knitting gloves and modifying sweaters for larger sizes.
Much more for the hand knitter, it does contain plenty of tips that the machine knitter can also use, especially in finishing techniques.
