Definitely a cute little book. It was shorter than I expected. It took less than an hour to read. It was a good example of a cozy mystery. I was entertained the whole time. The characters were likable and I felt like I would like to spend more time in their world. I am happy that there are another 13 or 14 books available in this series. It would be fun to read them all.
A cute and entertaining read. I read it quickly, probably in about an hour. This is the first book in the series that I have read, but I had no problem catching on to the major relationships in the book. We don't really learn anything about the murder victim, but since the murder is related to the bakery, we become invested in solving it. I enjoyed this book and think it would be fun to read the others in the series.
This is the first book in the Frosted Love Mysteries Series. I really enjoyed the story, but was a little disappointed with the ending. It was a person that was not really in the story.
Missy Gladstone owns a cupcake bakery. She has a minor feud with Darryl Davis, the donut man. When he turns up dead, she is immediately the suspect. As she knows it was not her or her assistant, she begins to investigate on her own. When things begin to happen to Missy, someone slinking around her house, her show more dog being upset, someone breaking into her home, etc. she is warned off the investigation by Chas Beckett, the police detective investigating the case. It was a good read, but I am hoping the ending of the next book is a little better. show less

This is the first time I've read this author. The story was good but a little simple. It moved very quickly like the author was in a hurry to get it over with. There were typos etc. but not so much that it ruined the story. All in all, I enjoyed it for what it was. A light cozy mystery, a quick read.
