About the Author
Larry Kinder learned to fly fish on Missouri's Ozark streams. He attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, went to law school in Florida, and served as a military judge before retiring to Florida after 20 years of active service. He began writing to support "a really bad fishing habit" that show more has him on the water more than 200 days a year. His articles have appeared in numerous outdoor publications, including Outdoor Life, Saltwater Sportsman, Florida Sportsman, Sport Fishing, Tide, Gulf Coast Fisherman, Fur-Fish-Game, and Florida Game & Fish. He was a regional editor for Sport Fishing and wrote a monthly column describing fishing opportunities in northeast Florida before moving on to his current position with Florida Sportsman as a contributing editor show less
