Only the alluring Anne Jeffreys and Jane Greer make this worth slogging through. The plot is paint-by-numbers and Conway, as Tracy, has about as much charisma as a barn door. Always nice to see Mike Mazurki, of course, but "Dick Tracy, Defective" would be a better title.
2022 movie #207. 1943. A more musical remake of the original with Claude Rains as the Phantom and Nelson Eddy, noted movie singer, as the romantic lead. As one wag said (and I agree) "Too much opera and not enough Phantom".
