I normally didn't watch soap operas and I didn't get into this until I think the fifth or sixth season. So I went back to the beginning and binged this and oh damn, the drama! Very enjoyable if you're into that kind of thing and I loved the writing. First season revolves around the suicide of Mary Alice Young and its repercussions as her friends (the Desperate Housewives) try to figure out why she did it, as well as plenty of drama on the side!

Subsequent seasons would have a different show more mystery or major issue in each one, with side stories woven in. The finale was pretty nice, some series fall apart after a few seasons or no but Desperate Housewives remained solid through the end. show less
