David Solomons, Arthur Young Professor of Accounting Emeritus at the Wharton School, The University of Pennsylvania, was a member of the committee that brought the Financial Accounting Standards Board into existence, and he has been involved with the Board's activities for several years. His show more publications have earned him awards from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Journal of Accountancy.
