The Accused Architect is sheer perfection... gripping... powerful... unforgettable...You’ll know you’ve read one hell of a story after you turn the last page! This is the first book in the acclaimed A Ken Knoll Architectural Mysteries series, and has many things to recommend it... Utterly absorbing. Vividly alive characters in a setting so clearly portrayed that one could step right into it. A very clever plot in which each clue is clearly offered and yet the identity of the murderer is show more a complete surprise.

Excellent, excellent novel. A hopeless lover of mysteries, I will be the first to admit that 95% of the mystery novels out there are badly written and poorly conceived. The Accused Architect is a true exception to that rule. I so enjoyed this world -- I am so glad that I had a chance to read this book. I am so devastated that I have finished it and that no sequel has been published yet. Hat’s off to Christian Belz! I am waiting for book two in the series.

Set in Detroit City, Belz’s Ken Knoll Architectural Mystery series starts with a body that disappears and doesn’t stop until it finds the murderer, no matter the career repercussions or the firms reputation. This beginning book, well-written and entertaining, is the first of two books in the series. A series worth starting. --Le Coeur de l'Artiste http://www.djadamson.com/le-coeur-de-lartiste
