WOW! I started this book last night and could not put it down till I finished THEN thought about the story for a while longer. I did not sleep till after 2am because sometimes a story is just so compelling that a mind cannot let it go till the story is finished and sometimes the story is not finished after reading the last page!

This is a second chance at love love story that works. There were reasons that Sutter and show more Dawson were in love for years but also reasons that made sense, at the time, for them to separate after high school. The fact that neither one ever connected with anyone as they had with each another was one significant reason the two might be able to reconnect – and then add in the fact that their chemistry was still off the charts didn’t hurt either. Once some honest communication took place and truths were brought to light the relationship had a good chance of making it but it still was not easy for either of them…and would not have a chance at all without both being willing to be all in all the way forever…and that was a toughie for both of them. Working to restore the Sweet Tea Gallery Theater was almost easier than restoring their relationship for an ultimate HEA.

There is so much I could say about Sutter, Dawson and their relationship before and after the big breakup BUT I won’t – I will just say this is a book worth reading and one that made me happy. I will also say that I am EAGER to read the next book in the series if it is even half as good as this one!

Sinclair's writing style immediately pulled me in completely. Before I knew it, I had written a quarter of the novel while I was supposed to be sleeping. I just couldn't stop. Didn't want to either. She just made you want more. More of Kane. More of Sky. More of everything.

But, especially more of Kane. I don't know how many times I've said this but... Long hair? Tattoos? [I had to laugh out loud when I read that quote I put up here.] Bad ass? Well, count me in, people! Count. Me. In! But show more where is that long hair on the cover?!
The descriptions used to picture this male specimen? Let's just say that I had a bit of a "Let me get some fresh air"-moment once in a while. Not to mention certain scenes *coughs* with Sky.

I enjoyed the story. I loved how Sky's secret is incorporated beautifully - honestly, I was scared that it'd be neglected when I first started reading - instead of getting drowned out by the steamy romance. I enjoyed the way Sky and Kane had to find their way back together, trying to fix the things that went wrong in their past.

Yes, it's a quick read. It's a romance. It's a beautiful novel when you want a breather, a quick novel to relax and stop thinking. Just enjoy the story. This novel had exactly what I needed when I started reading.

I was lucky to win this book to review and I have to start with WOW. This novel was so much more than I thought it would be. I came with initial expectations of a quick read with some steamy scenes and it would be done. Boy was i wrong.

I was blown away with the character development of both main characters but also the setting . Each scene had a reason for being and helped build the foundation of the plot and progression of the book.

Getting me started on the steamy parts would be a bad show more decision because it may just burn you up (yes a pun on the titles lol). If you want to know just hot hot and steamy this book is you need to read it and by read it i mean you wont be able to put it down.

This book is 100% on my reread library and I am so lucky that I was chosen to review it. Can't wait to look for more by Sinclair Jayne! show less
