K. R. Grace

Grace is a new presence on my ebook radar. I have to say I kind of like it. Her combination of America's sweetheart with a bit of royal sass is a joy to behold. Her Royal Christmas proves that our hearts never outgrow the fairytale, even though life's obstacles try to throw us off course. Cute read.

For the most part I did really enjoy this book. I do wish that it was listed on Netgalley as the second book in the series so that way I could have bought and read the first book. I liked Macey as a main character and I also really liked Jace! Even Kyle, Collin and Mia were all really great characters. It was a little on the shorter side and I think I would have liked it if there had been more. The ending show more seemed to wrap things up really quickly which I didn't really like. I do wish the cover were a little different though. I don't feel that it matches the book at all. When I saw the cover I really thought it would be a historical fiction novel. I mean really? It has a glamour looking young girl dressed up like the 40's, how does that even remotely match with an 18 year old in present time being a camp counselor?? Overall I'm glad that I read it and I will probably read the next one as well, however I can't see myself going back to read the first. show less
