A “Sentinel” attempts to accomplish the task of correcting the imbalance of the earth and it’s inhabitants. Two humans undergo a transformation that should provide them with abilities to offset the total environmental destruction of the earth. The Eagles of Justice, a secret organization that was established by humans to correct aberrant behavior, turns out to not be as secret as they thought. There are E of J’s in elected positions who may not be helping.

The first problem the show more sentinels must solve is how to prevent the consensus conclusion by elected officials, that population reduction is necessary, right now, using some instant weapon.

With food supplies running out, Natural castastrophes increasing, what can be tried to save organic life on the earth? By the end of the book the Sentinels have side stepped a lot of violent actions and managed to take one step forward.

This story takes place in 2041 and yet it seems like today in many respects.
