Melodramatic and self-indulgent, this is pulp trash of the worst kind. The overwhelming effect is that of a writer slumming it in true crime for the sake of the sales: Baker clearly thinks he's better than his material, but he also can't resist the nastiest,
goriest details. (Content warning for a whole lot of fatphobia and transphobia, on top of the general cynicism and willingness to imagine the very worst possible scenarios.)
Meet 18 of the Midwests most atrocious and vile human beings. Read histories of murder and mayhem committed by individuals with burning anger and contempt for societal norms, and witness the macabre visions of their personal demons driving them to commit to such murdering's.

It is for the strong at heart to be able to read this book. Just unbelievable how people turn into killers without even caring for their victim's.

I was given this book from Schiffer Publishing www.schifferbooks.com
