“If you love something set it free. If it comes back it’s yours. If not, it was never meant to be.” As Jules and Mason's story continues from a shocking cliffhanger in You Are My Reason, I wondered how they could possibly stay together after what is revealed about Mason's role in her husband's death. Ms. Winters delivers a heartbreaking and tense conclusion to a tragic love story gone wrong.
It’s hard enough to grasp the fact that Jace was murdered. Much harder still to think that I show more fell in love with his murderer.
Jules is in disbelief. The anonymous letter said Mason killed her husband Jace. How can she forgive something like that? She gave him everything and now she doesn't know that man anymore. He claims he loves her, but all she feels is anger and fear towards him. He's holding her prisoner and all she wants to do is go home. He knew who she was when we met. He knew it would destroy me, but that didn't stop him. What kind of f#@ked up mess has she gotten herself into?
It destroys me that I couldn’t lie to her. I couldn’t hide what I’d done. Some sick, twisted part of me is relieved that now she knows.
Mason loves her. He needs her. Now her life is in danger. It's all his fault, and all he wants to do is to protect her and make everything better. She knows he'll never hurt her. But someone knows what he did and they aren't safe. How can he convince her that staying with him is for her own good?
Ms. Winters does a fantastic job delving into the chaos of their lives including the desolation of Jules' anguish and hopelessness as well as her anger at Mason's lies, and at herself for loving him despite his sins. When she goes off on him and finally convinces him to let her go, it's devastating to watch. The sorrow and love are so strong. In addition, watching the tough and intimidating Mason be relegated to a contrite and miserable mess is unnerving, but well deserved. Despite his guilt, I was rooting for him every step of the way even though it looked hopeless. His desperation is palpable as he looks for the blackmailer while convincing himself that Jules will forgive him. My heart broke for both of them. Don't worry it ends in a HEA, but it took a lot out of this reader to get there.
If you love second chance dark romances loaded with heartache, secrets, and danger lurking around the corner, give this book a try. I recommend you read book 1 in this series so you can get the full force of Jules and Mason's relationship.
Thank you to Ms. Winters for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review. show less

My Review:
Broken Fate is the fourth installment in this spicy thrilling paranormal romance series. This story I wasn't expecting. I was honestly thinking it would be like the previous books. But actually we are introduced to a new heroine and immediately your heart will ache for her and will cheer for her to find her own happy ending that she deserves to have here.
Broken Fate is a story about Jude and him finding his mate. Judge is a good spy and he has been sent on a mission by his alpha to show more spy on their enemy pack but what he finds is truly horrifying to him. He witnesses neglect and abuse of pups of their kind and his fated mate. And he will do anything to protect her. But saving her from his enemy is just the beginning for them. His mate has been horribly abused and suffering from PTSD and he will have to prove himself worthy of her. She hasn't known gentleness or support from a man and Jude is determined to show her what a true mating bond is.
From the beginning to end, your heart will ache for Jude and Lena and the little pups who are so abused by their father. Seeing how Jude practically adopts them as his own and the baby that Lena is pregnant with was so heartfelt. The focus of the story for the most part is them learning each other and building trust with one another. And seeing them as wolves together.....MY HEART!!! It was precious and so tender. And its these little moments that remind me why I love a good shifter romance. And this story was refreshing in that the heroine Lena is part of the shifter community, she knows their world, the value of dominants and submissives in packs and what is expected of mates. But you also see how she finds something deep with Jude that reminded her of what she grew up with knowing.
Definitely eager to see more of this series and what the author will deliver for the rest of the series! It has had me in such a chokehold. show less

E-Gods and Goddesses! I have always loved a dark retelling, and it’s even better when it comes from one of my favorite authors. Combining betrayal, power, and obsession, Ms. Winters gives a new take on the mythological tale of the fierce and tortured Hades, King of Death, and the innocent and resilient Persephone, Goddess of Life. Their romance has a dark edge and pulls you into the mysterious and chaotic Underworld with every twist and turn.
Hades—oh my god! His obsession with show more Persephone is both intense and ridiculously entertaining. He’s a god for crying out loud, but he’s got this deep yearning for her light amidst his dark, brooding nature. And let’s not forget Persephone, who is so torn between her own blossoming powers and Hades’s compelling dark desires. Their dynamic? It’s electric and something you don’t want to miss.
It’s intriguing to see how Persephone wrestles with what the world expects of her and what she wants. And Hades is not just a brooding god lurking in the shadows; he has plans for her! He wants her to rule the Underworld by his side as his Queen. He wants her at any cost, which will destroy the world around them.
This retelling dives deep into the struggle between light and dark. I found myself rooting for this unlikely couple, hoping they find a balance where they can coexist. The writing by Willow Winters is alluring and provocative, weaving a tapestry of passion and mystery that’s impossible to put down. However, there’s a catch, folks. I have been cliffhangered again and will have to wait to find out their destiny.
If you’re up for a thrilling ride with a misunderstood God and a fish-out-of-water Goddess, pick up this book and dive headfirst into the world of Hades and Persephone. You won’t regret it.

I can always guarantee a Willow Winters novel will set me on fire and Tease Me Once is no exception. In book one of the Shame On You series, we meet Declan, the youngest of the alpha Cross brothers, who runs into someone in another life who showed him compassion when others avoided him. Will he return the favor when she needs him to trust her?
Braelynn is ready for a change. She'll "fake it until there's more happiness than pain in her life." No more loneliness, no more abusive ex-husband, show more and no more living with others. Her job waitressing at The Club will hopefully set her in a new direction, but her boss is Declan Cross. A vulnerable young boy she met as a child who now radiates power and danger. She had always felt a pull toward him and now it's a new and frightening dynamic. She knows better than to trust a man like him.
Declan is obsessed with Braelynn, but he can't afford to lose himself in her. Someone is leaking information to the Feds and everyone is suspect, even her. What he is about to do could not only destroy him but also his brothers. Blood is thicker than water. When it comes down to it, who will he choose?
The heat between Braelynn and Declan is so carnal, yet there is an underlying need that is so moving. They belong together, but their tragic pasts have turned into a future that could destroy them both. Braelynn is made stronger from her past and with Declan's BDSM tendencies and his insistence on her communicating her triggers to him, she starts to feel safe with him. But something bad is about to happen.
I couldn't put this hot, steamy book down and the cliffhanger ending is such a tease. I can't wait to pick up book 2 of the series because I want these two to have a happy ever after.
