While I don't necessarily disagree with anything in this book, and while I'm sure that (to a small degree at least) I practice some of the ideas in this book, it really does not provide any meaningful examples of actually carrying out these pedagogical ideas in a classroom.

Even less apparent is the applicability of this teaching model to STEM classes. I would argue that STEM requires a deep look into all of the dualities mentioned in this book, but asking my students to make a diorama about show more their feelings would not be appropriate in my classroom. show less
