If you need this, this is the book you need.
This is very likely more than you will ever need to know about patination. The detail, and the subtlety, is such that reproducing these test pieces is not easy as there is so little between them. But especially if you're working cuprous metals, this is a level of detail that is fascinating to see. A beautifully produced book too.
