She has given lots and lots of examples from her own life which support her idea of 'Bawse'. Irrespective of what you do or where you are, these short, but crisp lessons are relevant in the daily hustle to grow.

This book is clearly heavy (even literally heavy in weight) with 50 lessons, each of which need reflection into your life to understand and absorb carefully. "How to be a Bawse" is a very inspirational read, full of tips to improve your road to success and just make you a better human being as well. Lilly has written a magnificent book from her own experiences and what she has seen in other people as well that have helped them get to where they are. This book isn't just about getting to where you wish to be it's also about being the person you want to be as well. There are so many tips that I am going to try implementing into my own life. How to be a BAWSE: A Guide to Conquering Life

I Picked Up This Book Because: Who doesn’t want to be a BAWSE? Seriously it’s time to work on the things I know I can do in life.

The Story:

I finished this audiobook at about 5:30 by 7:15 I had ordered the hardcover from Amazon.

Lilly is so inspiring and positive. I honestly hadn’t really heard of her before her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon but once I heard her talking about the book she wrote I was intrigued. I was so show more happy when my library had the audiobook. I’ll be honest this kind of book is best listened to for me. As I listened and was inspired I am feeling more confident in 2017 being a year of change for me. I’ve had so many conversations with close friends and family about a lot of the concepts Lilly talks about. She has taken some ideas and expanded them to places I didn’t even think of. I’m anxious to get the hard copy and start applying some concepts to real life. Thank goodness for amazon prime.

"Bawse" is such a brilliant, funny, and empowering book!! I have about a zillion little sticky tabs throughout this book highlighting Lilly's words of wisdom and advice. I've been watching her videos for years now and her personality just shines through in her book on conquering life!
I wish some of the chapters were longer, but that's partially because I could read her words all day. The 50 chapters connected and built on one another beautifully and were incredibly inspiring to me show more personally.
10/10, would recommend!! show less
