In need of a good editor for easier reading, but prose style was quite comfortable. Written by a former good ol' boy from west Texas, the book is autobiographical, telling about how his life went from being part of what he calls "The Enterprise" (most Texans just refer to it as the "Good Ol' Boy" system, to being a victim of it.

Sometimes hard to stomach, you won't want to believe this kind of thing goes on, but unless you are a total Pollyanna, deep in your soul you know it does. Not a book show more for those who feel they must have confidence in the U.S. legal, judicial, and medical systems as they are now presented in the media. show less
