I enjoyed this. It was a nice, quick read. The writing flowed well, and the story was good. I love that Pepper was a strong woman, who didn't let people walk all over her. Reagan and Pepper had great chemistry, and they were really good together. I felt like Pepper was too hard on herself sometimes, but she didn't have the whole story either. It was nice to see her work through her past.
I loved it! It had everything I could ask for in a book. The writing was great, and the chemistry between Aubrey and Logan was HOT! I liked the longer epilogue, it was nice to have a little more closure to the story. This is the third book I've read by Annette Fields, and it will not be my last!
I've read all but one of the books in the series. I haven't read the 5th book, I'm not a fan of 3 way romances. The other books in this series are good. All of the books I've read have a HEA.
1.) Ball and Chain - Asher and Dahlia were good together, but Dahlia had some problems from her past that she really needed to deal with before she could be with Asher. She was pretty crappy to Asher for half of the book, and I couldn't believe that he let her by with it. Her way of dealing with things show more was to push him away. It was nice to see them both mature and work through things together.
2.) Love and War - Liam and Hazel are good together, and their chemistry is hot. I liked that Hazel was a strong woman, and could take care of herself. I felt like she was a little to hard on Liam sometimes though. I liked seeing what the characters from Ball and Chain are up to as well.
3.)Down and Dirty - This is my least favorite of the series. It didn't really have anything to do with the writing itself, I think that this author is a great writer. It was more the characters for me. I didn't really feel a strong connection between Sol and Natalie like I did in the previous books in this series. I also like a little more upbeat story.
4.) Cocked and Loaded - This was a nice, quick read. The writing flowed well, and the story was good. I love that Pepper was a strong woman, who didn't let people walk all over her. Reagan and Pepper had great chemistry, and they were really good together. I felt like Pepper was too hard on herself sometimes, but she didn't have the whole story either. That's just my personal preference though, so that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 3.
