Crowe begins with two long chapters on his top 100 cricketers, all-time XIs for the Test nations and an imaginary Test between pre-1962 and post-1962 World XIs. This sort of thing would have worked may be forty years ago but not now. When they are players that Crowe has played with or against, he has something interesting to say. But most of them haven't.
There are some interesting chapters - particularly one on his turbulent time with Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first season of IPL show more and his involvement in Cricket Max. But more boring chapters when compared with the interesting ones. show less
