About the Author
Richard J. Rinaldo is a retired Army lieutenant colonel, who commanded a rifle company in Vietnam in 1969. He is a graduate of Fordham College and West Point's History of the Military Art course and he taught Military History at Hoistra University. He was inducted into the Fordham and New York City show more ROTC Hall of Fame in 2015. His awards include the Distinguished Service Cross, Legion of Merit, Purple Heart Bronze Star, and Meritorious Service Medal with 3 OLC the Army Achievement Medal, and Combat Infantryman's Badge. He is National Commander of the Legion of Valor 2016-2017 and lives in Virginia. show less
