For the price of $2.99, this Kindle book is an excellent resource for librarians, teachers, booksellers, writers, bloggers, and anyone else who wants information about modern book bans and challenges, and what to do about them. Each chapter covers a different individual topic related to book bans and I found it easy to read this book by starting with the chapters that sounded most interesting or relevant to my own work, and reading them out of order in that way. I believe many of the show more chapters were originally published as individual articles on the Book Riot website, but for only $3 it was really nice to have them all compiled into one easy to find resource. I also found that I learned a lot of history that I didn't previously know, which informs the reasons that certain books are being banned in certain areas of the USA. I will be recommending this book to anyone I know who doesn't understand exactly what is happening in American libraries right now. Even if you are up-to-date on the current book banning frenzy, I'm sure you will learn a few things from this book. show less
