I remember picking this one out at a school book fair for both my kids to read. I think this would be an amazing addition to a classroom library, because it helps illustrate the importance of knowing when you are in the wrong and when how to always try your best to be your true self in every situation you are in. That it is also okay to take time to be by yourself and how it is never okay to push your negative emotions/feelings onto other and to remember to apologize and take responsibility show more for what you do. show less
This is a story to teach children not to interrupt when speaking in a group. The mom teaches the little boy a simple strategy KISS keep it, silent sweetie. This strategy helps the little boy to remember that when adults are speaking, it is essential to wait for your turn. It's a simple book to teach basic manners to little ones. I originally bought this book thinking that it was more of a book to control your thoughts and feelings; however, that was not the case. It is a cute story none the show more less and serves its purpose in certain situations. show less
