Tanya Bowe is recovering from a triple whammy. A lost job, a divorce and clinical depression. Her ex is a dective and she used to be an investigative journalist so looking past the surface is in her blood. Shortly after reuniting with an old school chum she finds her dead at the bottom of the stairs of a house she is to help empty out. When the police are quick to call it an accident her instincts say no and she, along with her friends look into the case.
Many smart and interesting characters show more make this a good mystery and I look forward to meeting them again.

Tanya is taken aback by the divorce request from her husband, not realising how bad their marriage was, and loses her friend from school to murder. Tanya's investigative journalistic instincts kick in and Tanya looks into the case of her friend's death. This is a gentle mystery story with more dialogue than visual descriptions.
