This book is, also, small and divine (which seems to be how books about tea come). This is amazing in all sorts of ways though. It fits into your hands and doesn't look all that amazing from the outside, but the inside is full top-to-bottom, side-to-side, watercolor paintings the whole way through and everything is down in handwriting instead of scripts. There are recipes, quotes, historical texts, instructions, comments and even places to write down all your favorite things for certain show more season in the back.

A beautiful book, an inspiration for doing one's own nature journaling, filled with quotations in addition to Koch's own musings.
Rambles about various food crops, designed gardens, plant life, habitats, trees, flowering plants...and many other interesting tidbits.
But not very useful for practical study of plants.

Charming book: great for its illustrations and calligraphy, text mixing info, memories, recipes.

This is my favourite of the books in the author's natural world series. Her illustrations, as always, are beautiful and the accompanying text is full of fun and interesting facts. A fun book to sit with and pore over on a rainy afternoon.
