Dave Dravecky was a baseball player who played with the San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants back in the eighties and early nineties. In 1988, it was discovered that he had a tumor in his left arm, his pitching arm. He had surgery and the cancer was removed. He made the decision that he was going to make a comeback starting the long arduous process. Not quite a year later his comeback was secure when he started a game show more for the San Francisco Giants and pitched very well. In his second and next start of his comeback as he threw a pitch, he toppled to the ground in great pain. His left arm was broken, and his comeback was over. This is where his first book, Comeback, ended and this book began. It shares the heartache and hardship that Dave, his wife, and their two children experienced during these years of his comeback. Inspiring and highly recommended.

This one of the better books written by a Christian who overcame a debilitating injury. He claims that he doesn't know all the answers, especially the why question. The book is not overly preachy but very pragmatic in his views. Very encouraging for anyone going through tough times.
