There are a couple of typos/editing errors.
There are also a couple of jumpy spots. Not many, but they did cause me to reread those show more sections and interrupted the flow of the story.
The flow itself had ups & downs. There were areas that were very slow paced and others that moved quickly.
The love making scenes are relatively tame. Sweet & adult, but not erotica.

The world build is interesting, but I was often confused as to the era in which this is occurring. Sometimes it felt historical, other times not. Left me wondering if it is supposed to be another world or dimension entirely. That part is left unclear.

The main characters, Ingrid and Helias are delightful and I liked them.
Helias could be very amusing.

I also found the story-line/plot to be very enjoyable. Enough that I want to read the next book and see how it goes.
I looked it up and it is .99 on Amazon right now (7/3/18).

It's called 'Dragongrove: Becoming the Dragon Queen' and is listed as 153 pages. That seems like a fair price to me & it continues the story of Ingrid & Helias.
So, I'm going to take a chance and hope for the best.
It could be a dud, or it could be a fantastic new world for me.... show less

House sitting on an island off the coast of Alaska for the Winter Eve follows a noise in the night down to the docks where she proceeds to slip and fall into the water.
Azralon is of the Yremy, leader of a race of demons that reside in another realm.
He is not in any way human he is purple with wings, claws, fangs and a tail and he has been dreaming of Eve for a while.
when she washes up on his shores he believes her a tool sent by the witches to aid in his downfall.
He believes she is working show more with his enemies, obviously, she is innocent of the crime accused.
So this was enjoyable, It wasn't very taxing or complicated and it was a bit light on the worldbuilding itself but it was still a fun easy read.
It was also quite a quick read and was instalove and instalust also.
Nothing wrong with a bit of insta and the sexy scenes here sure hit the spot.
This is the first book in a new series and I believe the next book is about Eve's friend.
