At least on par with, and possibly even better than, the first Ginny Goblin book! In this one, Ginny Goblin wants a goat for a pet, but is told to find a more suitable pet. Ginny Goblin goes after a whole variety of monsters on land and sea and even outer space, and in the end, a goat doesn't look so bad after all. Clever Ginny.

Ginny Goblin spends a lot of time and creativity trying to get into the box she's not allowed to open until after dinner...and then, suddenly, she appears to give up - but really it's just dinner time. There's one more obstacle, though - she has to eat her peas.

Utterly charming and funny - but made my 3.5yo uncomfortable ("she's not supposed to open the box!").
