Sandra Riel

It is a short biography of a woman who came to Germany from Albania as a young woman. In Albania she was a trained nurse, but in Germany she was only allowed to do the lowest level of work in the hospital. She could hardly speak German when she arrived in Germany and had a hard time finding friends. She made various suicidal attempts. At one she was rescued by her future husband. Her mother-in-law did not like her at all and was treated for a long time in a psychiatric hospital while her son show more grew up with the mother-in-law. She has found a way for herself through therapy, medication and faith in God. show less
