Cheryl Blythe began her career in television and film production working on The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour, The Carol Burnett Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and freelancing as a production coordinator on numerous pilots. She also worked as personal assistant to Alan Alda on M*A*S*H*, and was production liaison on four films for Blake Edwards including Victor/Victoria. She later went on to become a post-production supervisor on several comedy series for MTM Productions. She and co-author Susan Sackett also wrote You Can Be a Game Show Contestant and Win, and Blythe was ghost-writer for The Official Cheers Scrapbook.
