Marie Rippel

This is a story that focuses on the idea that imagination is worth celebrating, not something to hide. The story follows a young boy who meets a cloud on a school trip. The cloud takes him to the cloud factory where they work together to create new designs for the clouds. The young boy uses his creativity to explore new ways that the clouds can take shape. I think that this is an excellent book that showcases how children can take their creative ideas and expand on them. Innovation and show more discovery are celebrated within this story. During the story, certain characters look down upon the little boy for his creations, but that doesn't stop him from bringing his ideas to reality. This story also does a great job at encouraging students to preserve no matter the obstacle their facing. I truly loved this book for its creativity and story line. show less
