Anthony Powell [is] a multi-media filmmaker, photographer, camera equipment builder, and consultant who specialises in all things Antarctica, as well as working on other projects in New Zealand and around the world. He grew up on a farm in Taranaki, New Zealand. He worked for many years as a Communications Tech and Satellite Engineer in Antarctica for both New Zealand's Scott Base and McMurdo Station which is run by the United States National Science Foundation, before transitioning to becoming a full-time filmmaker for the last 10 years. - Places of residence
