John R. Nudds

This is an excellent book, well illustrated, covering a selection of fossil sites in North America, representing major chronological periods from the pre-Cambrian to the later Ice-Age. To get the most from this book, one would need to be a better biologist than I, but even without this knowledge, it is a very enjoyable read. Some fascinating methods of preservation are discussed.
