The Freelance Writer's Bible: Your Guide to a Profitable Writing Career Within One Year by David Trottier
This is an excellent book for those who have just decided to experiment with a career in writing. The book goes through a step by step process to help you discover yourself as a writer, improve your writing, and make a business out of it. It offers many options for writing styles and ways to sell your work. It is a motivating read, but good perhaps be improved by going more in-depth on the information provided.

I've learned so much from this book! It's definitely not just for screenwriters. It holds valuable information about breaking down your story in a timely manner, from beginning to end, using movie examples. It focuses on how to create a good, successful story. Another of my favorites!
