An absolute must read favorite! I could not put this book down. To Hunt An Heiress had me eagerly turning the pages with its delightful battle of wits, smoldering enemies to lovers romance, delicious witty banter, charming characters including a mischievous marmoset, & laugh out loud moments that had me guffawing.
Sebastian Drake needs to marry an heiress if he’s to rescue his half-siblings from their neglectful uncle. His first attempt goes horribly wrong, so when his friends point out a show more beautiful, wealthy, young widow, Sebastian sets his sites on her. He’s beginning to think he could enjoy being married to her until the tables are turned.
Selina Lawrence has sworn off marrying again after her awful first husband. When she meets Sebastian, she begins to hope she could give marriage a second chance, until she learns he’s a fortune hunter. Determined to teach him a lesson, she employs the most creative & hilarious means to test his resolve including a wild marmoset, sugar high nieces & nephews, & a dead pigeon. As they match wits, it’s clear there’s a sizzling chemistry between them, but who will give in first & admit to love?
I adored this story! I could not contain my laughter at all the hilarious situations these two put each other in. From the terrible poetry to the “favorite pets,” I loved every moment. But, underneath it all are two lovable people who really are the perfect match if only they can find a way & Selina’s not constantly second guessing Sebastian’s feelings. I loved how everything was so creatively resolved.
The romance & chemistry were off the charts! The humor & wit kept me chuckling out loud. I thoroughly enjoyed this marvelous Regency with its funny & tender, pull on your heartstrings moments. It’s my favorite new book from Martha Keyes & I was sad to see it end.
This Bachelors of Blackstone’s series is amazing & each book has been fantastic. Though they’re all loosely connected, each book can easily be read as a standalone. Looking forward to the next one. I received an advanced copy but also purchased it in Kindle Unlimited. All opinions are my own & voluntarily provided. show less

“I stare at him, searching his face for the wolf behind the wool. I’m sure it’s there, but this is a crazy good disguise. I hate hot Satan.”
This book and series! Every book in the Falling for Summer Series including Summer Tease has been amazing! Martha Keyes delivers a laugh out loud, enemies to more, family feuding, delightful summer romcom that’s an instant favorite. Oh the banter! I loved the he falls first, gorgeous cop Beau who knows how to get a girl’s attention, and boy show more does he ever. And, the spunky, spitfire Gemma who fights her attraction all the way. This is definitely one to add to your summer TBR list!
Gemma Sawyer reluctantly returns to Sunset Harbor after 14 years to help her grandma who’s moving to an assisted living center. The last people she wants to see are Palmers. After all, they’re the ones who drove her and her family from the island. But the first man she meets is Beau Palmer, now a hottie cop who oozes way too much charm. But, with all her grandmother’s shenanigans, she’s going to need his help if she’s going to sell her grandma’s house & get her all settled before she has to return to LA. The more time she spends around Beau though, the more her defenses and hatred start to wane and she reluctantly finds herself falling, but will their family’s longstanding feud get in the way?
I loved Beau & Gemma! The chemistry between them just sizzled! Beau is such a softy for a man in uniform. His easygoing, kind, gentle teasing personality had me from the first. I loved all the close proximity moments, Gemma’s reluctance to fall, & their low key feud with the birdhouse. All their snarky, witty banter was so good too! Gemma’s grandma “Grams” was a hoot! I was frequently cackling at all her antics. She’s a total spitfire and its’s easy to see where Gemma got it from.
Some of the things I loved:
Xena the K5 Chow Chow
All of Grams’ antics
The canal swim
Citizen’s arrest
Beau’s “old friend”
Gemma’s presentation
“Do you still hate me?”
The epilogue & dance
I love the way this series is connected. Having read all four books so far in the series, I love how similar events are shared from different points of view. And, it’s so fun seeing characters from the previous novels. Each book can be read as a standalone and in any order but I’ve loved reading them in order. This is a must read book and series for closed door romcom fans! I received an advanced complimentary copy from the author. All opinions are my own and voluntarily provided.
*Audiobook update: I loved listening to the audiobook version of Summer Tease! It’s so fun revisiting these Falling for Summer books. The narrator did such an amazing job bringing Gemma, Beau, & all the quirky residents of Sunset Harbor to life. I enjoyed every moment! show less

Absolutely loved Kissing for Keeps! I’ve enjoyed reading Martha Keyes’ historical romances, but haven’t read any of her contemporary until now. Wow! She can definitely write amazing contemporary romances. Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and this book delivers a funny, romantic, second chance romance sizzling with delicious tension and witty banter.
After a disastrous political election, Siena’s looking to redeem herself after believing her mistakes as a campaign show more manager led to her boss’ defeat. She’s hoping by managing her best friend’s dreamy French wedding, she can prove her capabilities. But, organizing a wedding in France by herself is a huge undertaking. It’s going to take all her ingenuity to pull it all off especially when Madi’s flirt of a brother shows up. She’s never forgotten what happened between them all those years ago, but nothing like that can happen again, especially on the heels of Madi’s wedding.

Now with Madi getting married, he wants his sister to have the most beautiful day possible. It doesn’t hurt that he gets to see Siena again. Despite the attraction between them, Jack’s got to keep things strictly platonic even though they’re staying at a gorgeous chateau in the most romantic city in the world.
I loved Siena and Jack, Just Jack. Jack is just the cutest, flirtiest guy! He’s determined to play the playboy even though he’s really got a big, loyal heart. I loved the banter between him and Siena. It’s clear they’re totally attracted to each other, but both try to fight it big time. I love how she calls him variations of Jack and he calls her by her last name. I loved all the sights they visit trying to find the perfect wedding favors. The truffle scene had me laughing out loud! I also enjoyed how the author periodically shares incidents from the past so we have a clear understanding of what happened between them.
This is definitely one swoony, funny, romantic, clean romcom you need to add to your TBR list! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I received an advanced complimentary copy from NetGalley but also purchased a copy from Kindle Unlimited. All opinions are my own and voluntarily provided. show less

What's worse than being snowed in at an acquaintances house right before Christmas? How about being held under house arrest with your sworn enemy? That's where Emma Caldwell find herself during the holidays in 1813, imprisoned with Hugh Warrilow, the man that broke her sisters heart before leaving to go fight in the war. With well-developed characters amiss a picturesque backdrop, show more Goodwill for the Gentleman is a Christmas delight. This is my first read for the holiday season and I must say it was a great start, getting me excited for the upcoming season. I have always adored stories where enemies have a change of heart and though predictable, it is a sweet story with a satisfying ending.
Though this is apart of the Belles of Christmas series, this easily can be read as a standalone, and I am excited to read the rest of the books in the series. show less
