I’ve seen the cover of this book many times but never read it before! At bedtime, Chris sits with his father and they discuss the day’s naughty behavior from Alexander, Chris’ red horse with the green stripes. I love the imaginative way in which Chris and his father are able to process together what’s really Chris’ actions and Chris’ day with both honesty and compassion, with hope for a better day tomorrow.
