I received a Mobil.file for an ARC [Advanced Reader’s Copy] of this book from the publisher and the following is my [or should I say my inner-child’s] honest opinion of this books.

I loved the way this book has been arranged by the different topics each joke belongs to. This book has knock-knock jokes, jokes about the body, food, people, animals and a bunch of miscellaneous jokes that we as children love: jokes about school.

I loved how the person or persons who compiled the jokes in this show more book took a word and gave it a different spelling because both words sounded the same like this body joke:

Why is your nose in the middle of your face?
Because it is the scenter!
SCENTER / CENTER

Somethings the jokes just had a different meaning in the question and for the answer, like this food joke:

Why is a baseball team similar to a muffin?
They both depend on the batter!
Batter = the person trying to hit the ball/what the muffin is made from.

Being an inner-child, like children, telling the jokes in this book can make me a funny person telling the jokes in this book. However, not being an inner-child telling these same jokes most of the time would make me person who can tell jokes which are worn-out.

I believe, as an inner-child, that this book source of jokes for all children, and for those grown-ups who would love to remember the jokes they might have told when they had been children themselves. The jokes in this book form a game where if the teller can make another person laugh, they receive a point; get 7 points and you win. Having said this, I am happy to give this book 5 STARS helping children to become better joke tellers.

I loved the way this book has been arranged by the different topics each joke belongs to. This book has jokes about people, animals, food, knock-knock jokes and course it has jokes about something that we as children love: jokes about school.

I loved how the person or persons who wrote almost all of the jokes took a word show more and gave it a different spelling because both words sounded the same like this egg joke:

16. How does the Easter Bunny keep his fur in place?
With hare spray!
HARE / HAIR

A joke book that is a brilliant way to interact with family and friends.
The book is nicely laid out making it easy to read. I like the way the jokes are arranged by categories/subjects of the jokes which makes it very easy to navigate through.
There are a lot of clever play on words, for example:

Knock, Knock
Who's there?
Figs.
Figs who?
Figs the doorbell, it's broke!

Some may find a few jokes a little corny or worn, but I think this only brings back a sense of nostalgia and with it some good old show more fashion fun and silliness.......which we all need but forget about in todays life.
This joke book is appropriate for all ages and truly recommended for the whole family.

My six and eight year old loved this book. We read a different section daily. They had an awesome time just getting each other to think about the answer to the joke. Afterward, they were able to write a few jokes of their own. We can't wait to read your other books.
