Hiba Noor Khan

Saffiyah is a girl growing up in Paris. After the Nazi's invade France, things get more and more restrictive for people in the city. Saffiyah's family lives within the mosque and soon she finds that her parents are part of the French Resistance. She is determined to help in any way she can, her actions sometimes place her in danger but also have the potential to save Jewish people in Paris.
A World War II story I didn't know about. I'm glad I listen to the audio for pronunciation.

Somehow the writing didn't stir me. I'm really glad I read this, though, and I hope it's widely read.
