Rex Hurst

This book is weird in the best way. It leans into the gross, creepy, supernatural side of things while still keeping a sense of dark humor that makes it fun to read. The story is easy to follow, moves quickly, and never feels like a chore. If you enjoy horror with a strange, slightly twisted edge, this is a solid pick and a quick, entertaining read from start to finish.

This is a very different type of horror book and was quite interesting. There is definitely a horror element - but mostly felt like a sci-fi, fantasy novel. Definitely enjoyed reading it and it was a quick read.
